That’s a wrap on another incredible summer of learning, laughter, and adventure! Our final week of Summer Inspiration Camps was packed with unforgettable moments, new friendships, creative discoveries, and endless smiles. From hands-on activities to exciting challenges and everything in between, our campers made the most of every minute. ☀️

PCCSS' New Teacher Orientation is officially underway! On Wednesday, we welcomed both first-year teachers and experienced educators who are joining our district for a three-day orientation designed to connect, support, and introduce them to #ThePutnamWay. 🦅
Our goal is to ensure every new teacher feels a strong sense of community and has access to the resources and support needed to thrive in the classroom. We believe that when educators are empowered, they can make a lasting impact on the lives of students. Welcome HOME to all of our new teachers! We are excited to have you as part of the PCCSS family and look forward to an AMAZING school year ahead!

Join us to help your little one get a head start on the upcoming school year. During this event, our prek staff will complete student’s beginning-of-the-year screener, providing valuable insights that will aid our teachers in tailoring their instruction throughout the year.

The family of Kayden Weathers will host a balloon release on Friday, July 10th, at 5:00 p.m. at Putnam County High School. We invite our school family and community to come together to honor the life and memory of Kayden.
During this difficult time, we continue to keep the Weathers family in our thoughts and prayers. We hope this gathering will provide an opportunity for our community to unite, reflect, and celebrate Kayden's life.

Midweek Summer Inspiration Check-In 🦋🐝
From butterflies and blooms to busy bees and hives, our campers are exploring all things winged and wonderful! Through hands-on activities and outdoor discovery, they’re learning just how important these tiny creatures are to our world. We love seeing their curiosity take flight!

PCPS School Supply List 2026-2027
This summer, Summer Inspiration camp students are enjoying the freshest produce—squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce—grown right in the Putnam County Charter School Nutrition's garden and hydrofarms.
Led by Director Teena Carr, the 2026 Georgia School Nutrition Association Director of the Year, our program brings farm-fresh food straight to students’ plates. Her dedication to healthy meals is making a meaningful impact on our community. Thank you, Mrs. Carr!

Week 2 of PCCSS Summer Inspiration Camps was FULL of fun, creativity, and hands-on learning! ☀️
From making a splash with swimming lessons and cooling off on slip & water slides to whipping up sweet treats and delicious pizzas in the kitchen, our students stayed busy all week long! They explored gardens, picking fresh fruits and vegetables, engineered robots, built incredible LEGO creations, and even took their first steps toward entrepreneurship by developing their own business plans.
The energy didn’t stop there, our campers also hit the gym for basketball, baseball, and volleyball, all while enjoying tons of imaginative, creative play with friends! We love seeing our students learning, growing, and having so much FUN this summer. We can’t wait to see what Week 3 brings!
