Get Ready, War Eagles! The First Day of School is Almost Here!

The countdown is on! The Putnam County Charter School System is excited to welcome students back for the 2026-2027 school year. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and we can't wait to see our War Eagles ready to learn, grow, and soar!

Before the first day arrives, we encourage families to attend our Open Houses on Thursday, July 30. Open House is a great opportunity for students and families to meet teachers, tour classrooms, become familiar with school procedures, and start the year with confidence. Please check your school's specific Open House times.

To help students have a successful start to the school year:

✅ Review school supply lists and shop early. Supply lists for all schools, except Putnam County High School, are available on our website. PCHS students will receive their supply lists when class schedules are distributed.

✅ Establish a back-to-school routine now. Gradually adjusting bedtimes and morning schedules before school begins can help make the transition easier.

✅ Make sure all registration, transportation, and health information is up to date.
